The Downers Grove Sportsmen�s Club Youth Program attempts at not only teaching and encouraging proper gun safety and etiquette, but also teaches team work, leadership, setting goals and following through to the complication of said goals.  We encourage trust and honesty between coaches and athletes and are helping to form responsible adults and shooters for the future.  We try to once a year have the team attend a shooting clinic, encourage our older team members to become Junior Coaches, and have the team volunteer in other events at the club.  The team also competes in many local tournaments, and participates in a State Level Tournament in August.  Our main goal is to assist these athletes in reaching their goals and setting new higher goals in years to follow.
